About me – While my hypnotherapy premises are located in Folkestone and Hythe, I like to provide my clients with a choice and can conduct sessions within their own homes if they prefer.
My website testimonials reflect my sensitive approach and can be found here https://www.youmotivate.co.uk/. You will feel cherished and able to allow yourself to listen to suggestions for change.
I currently lead a positive visualisation workshop at Folkestone Mind, and previously at Touchbase Care, for group sessions. My one to one sessions are an hour in duration. The first session will be slightly longer in order for me to gather as much information and background as my client wishes to give.
I am fully insured and DBS verified. My fees are £50.00 per single session. A block of three sessions purchased together would be charged at £40.00 per session. I also offer low income and student rates.

Book Keeper and Receptionist
Hello everyone! My name is Jo Johnson and I am based at the Physios ‘R’ Us Folkestone Clinic in Manor Road. My role includes working on Reception along with completing general accounting duties.
Here is a bit about me – I live in Sandgate with my partner Rob. I have a grown-up daughter and we have an 8-year-old Staffie called Tyson who is quite an anxious chap. He is a rescue and loves life but absolutely detests loud noises, especially fireworks! We take him for long walks around the coast which relaxes and tires us all out! I adore travelling. We love visiting the Caribbean especially Barbados, but my favourite holiday ever was a trip to the Maldives.
I am a new addition to Physios ‘R’ Us and look forward to meeting all our clients.
I am a qualified Pilates Instructor and I am incredibly passionate about Pilates and its benefits. I am energetic, kind, and considerate and I will always try to put a smile on your face. I am dedicated to helping improve movement with my clients while making them feel comfortable and confident. Pilates can enhance your physical strength, flexibility, balance and coordination as well as reduce stress.
When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family and my pets. I have chickens, rabbits named Ed and Eddie and a 22-year-old cat called Miss Nickles.
I look forward to meeting and working with you all.
Front Desk Manager
Hi there! I am Lindsay Melrose – a recent addition to the Physios ‘R’ Us team.
You will find me eating biscuits at the desk of the flagship Folkestone Clinic and also leaving crumbs at the established practice in Hythe.
I am responsible for reception, marketing and the promotion of our exciting new Footbalance Custom Made Insole service.
I come to the practice from a career in Office Management and Indirect Field Sales in North London.
I live in Folkestone with my partner, my 12-year-old daughter Milly-Mae and our little doggo Dennis – named after the Iceman himself Dennis Bergkamp!
When not working I enjoy fishing, walks by the sea, shouting at my football team and binge watching all the big TV shows! Shhh no spoilers please.
I can’t wait to meet all of our clients and I am looking forward to working with you all!
Paediatric and Neuro Physiotherapist
Hello, my name is Maggie Gurr and I am part of the Physios ‘R’ Team.
I have nearly 40 years’ experience as a Registered Physiotherapist working within the public and private sector in the UK and overseas. I have been based in East Kent since 1995 and hold strong professional relationships with the local health and education systems from nursery all the way up to higher education.
I firmly believe that the best approach is to listen carefully to your individual concerns and particular movement difficulties in order to plan specific solutions which can easily be incorporated to your family’s daily life. I can also liaise with other professionals as required and I am experienced in report writing for specific purposes.
I work with children from 0 – 18 in age. I can offer physiotherapy intervention/services to children with diagnosed conditions/illness and to those experiencing pain/distress due to growing pains/exercising difficulties or posture problems.
I fully appreciate the complexity involved in managing and co-ordinating family life when caring for a child who has additional concerns, so I am fully committed to offering a service that is flexible. I therefore offer home visits at times that are mutually convenient and do not interrupt children’s school or other schedules.
